Sudan joins Harka's Party!
Sudan has joined Harka's political outfit, Shram Sanskriti Party. No, it's not our former HM, Sudan Gurung, but Kirati this time, and he will now be the second man or person in charge (2IC)! Kirati was once our Tourism and Civil Aviation Minister and could not get things done there because of Pradeep Adhikari, because the hakim was busy minting money for himself and not sharing with Kirati and the Maoists!
The picture we have with today's guff tells a different story. Sudan is trying to block his nose from smelling something nasty. Maybe Harka needs to take a shower every evening and not wear the same sweaty t-shirt three days in a row or just too much whining has accumulated tons of gas for someone!
Does Harka's party have any future, or will it just disappear in five years? Well, most of us did think Harka was a good man. But then he went sprinting all the way to Kathmandu from Dharan to demand the right to live in Baluwatar for six months. Even if he had become our PM then, his only job would have been to hold the elections and leave.
Harka still thinks Rabi should be the PM because he is just too jealous of Balen. They both started out the same way, as Mayors of their respective municipalities. Balen did not try to become our PM after the Gen Z massacre. Harka did and failed. Balen joined RSP and became our PM. Harka opened his own party and won a few seats and enough PR votes to call his outfit a national party!
PM Balen has been on a roll, bulldozing his way through the illegal settlements and doing his best to destroy the foundation of corruption and chaos in our land by trying to dismantle the politically-affiliated chor unions as well! The courts will try to put the brakes on his fast and furious approach but there will be no space for the old chor political parties to get free lunch in the coming days.
Harka's party has welcomed Kirati and he gets to be the vice-chairperson for "Mato" and he gets to bring in a bunch of folks and 15 members in the central committee. Kulman Ghising tried the same 'give me more' formula when the RSP came calling. Rabi and Balen said No and Ghising left and lost his chance to be a part of the new government.
If Harka had joined RSP, he would have become a mantri by now and maybe, it would have been mandatory for all of us above 18 to carry rocks and dig ditches every weekend. Harka is now slowly losing his core fans as well because he has been whining too much against Balen and is also questioning each and every move, even though most of us do support the government's actions to get rid of the 'old' chor system!
Kirati just wants some political space. There is no Maoist party now. It has been merged with a bunch of other disgruntled former UMLs and other socialists to become Nepal Communist Party (NCP). Prachanda now wants the unification of all communists because come next election, he hopes to grab more seats and be part of some mili-juli government but if the RSP does what's best for this country, then it is the end of all socialist and communist parties in Nepal come 2031!
Kirati went on a rant, more of a shouting fest, crying about the Balen government's move to appoint someone else other than a UML lackey, Madam Malla as our new Chief Justice. He thinks Balen is trying to become a dictator. Well, Kirati can whine and bitch about all things Balen just like Harka but at the end of the day, they will only need more Strepsils to soothe their throats!
Kirati also tells us that his new political party, the 'Mato' folks, is willing to take responsibility to run our country if the Balen government fails. Let's do some math! RSP has 182 seats and Harka's gang has less than even 3%. I think Kirati needs to take some math lessons in Putalisadak before dreaming of running the government. And Harka's dream of becoming a Prime Minister someday is nowhere near. Harka will not win next time if he continues to act like a lunatic.
Mato has the chance to become a strong opposition to RSP and hopefully create a political environment where we have two major political parties battling for votes instead of 123. Mato is slowly losing its way and RSP could be like PAP of Singapore and be here for the next thirty years till the next generation then want someone new!
