Last six years specially, crime has been committed by Maoist and as well as by the Nepal police and army. Both side have their won court justifying their coz and reason. When Maoists were labelled as a terrorist. It gave government more power to hold person as Maoist suspect. In that process people have been gone missing. Most of the cases of killing have been committed in last six years are done in anger, revenge, and rage. There was no do process from Maoist side. They picked up the person from home and butchered in front of family. There are hundred of cases like that. Army and police have also done things like raping, and killing. These are also done in rage and revenge.I think the human nature and behavior comes to play here. Both side lost their friends and colleague on war. Just picture this how furious and dedicated they became avenge the death of their friends. In my opinion ideology stayed in the box. Violence erupted both side started fighting to wipe out each other. It was always been a hide and seek between Maoists and government force and viceversa. Many people were blamed by both sides ....,, got killed in that process with out any court or hearing.
Now both side are to be blamed, both sides need to be accountable for what they have done. That will start the healing process. This issue needs to be discussed and debated.May be this should not be agenda of any particular political parties. It would be a good idea to be handled by human rights groups and ....however I am sure they are doing it.
Despite the political reform that is going in the country, Basic right of a human being should be protected, whether it is Maoist or army or police should be brought to justice.

well said but the issue is who is going the bell the cat.
The Army can be brought under the house and be investigated what will happen to the maobadi attrocities, crimes and extorsions? Nothing!

Bahunbad or bahun-bad?
I could agree with you if it was the latter but alas you could not be more mistaken.

It is important justice should be served for our people. Like any where in the world killers should be brought to justice. That is one of the way we can stop killing of innocent people. Once the dust settles there should be investgation of all killings in nepal that carried out by both sides. We need closer by dealing with issue not shoving under the rug. Finding out the truth and serving justice
