I am surprised how noone has any comments about this picture of a women. Last week when I posted a publicly available picture in here, there were many self acclaimed righteousness advocates who lectured and actually got very personal about not posting a public picture here. Why doesn't anyone comment about this woman's photo? It was a publicly available picture. I don't see any difference between posting this picture and the other picture. In the other picture you saw that the girls in the picture were actually posing for the picture. In this picture the woman probably doesn't even know that her picture was being taken. Now where are the righteousness advocates here. I hope you are writing to Kantipur publication on publicing a picture of an unsuspecting woman and making her susceptible to other's crude comments. Alas, she doesn't even know her picture was taken.

Cryptonite, maaf paau ni ta aba, tyaski dekhena na ni ta aba, dekhe ta reply gari halthe ni ta. Okay about the pic, ke hmmm, poor lady, looks like somebody's bhauju more than someone's wife. U know, those bhaujus, who spends her day cleanin' up the house and listening to sasus nagging, who spends her evenings cooking and listenin' to sasuras bragging, who is the last one to go to bed after all the cleanin' up has been done and yet she has to satisfy her drunken husband before she finally goes to bed and yet, she wakes up early in the morning, puts on her dhoti and one green tilhari, and rushes to nearby river and pray for her and her family's well being... eh. Look at her face, doesn't she look tired? And the hair, unfixed. ehe. Okay, pugyo? aru pani lekhum? ehe.

lovely sight of fruits, but a bit weird when it is 'offered' to a dirty river. in a way i lost my lunch today, man after seeing the sight! this reminded me of a situation i had when leaving ktm this past summe.... i had to throw away a bagful of fruits and garlands (given by family as a saigun, i think what it is called) in ktm airport before boarding as they are not practical to bring aboard. i think TIA airport needs to set up a place called 'falful ra ful bisarjan kuna' (cornor for disposing fruits and flowers) where folks can respectfully dispose them instead of having to throw in trash cans. any thoughts on this, folks? how did you guys dispose garlands/fruits?

In the pic that Cryptonite pasted, where are the girls from? They are all drop dead gorgeous. Now lemme guess. Since all Nepali girls in Torronto are gorgeous and all the girls in the above pic are gogeous, they must be from no other place than Cananda (Torronto). . . . . . . . . TORRONTO GIRLS I LOVE YOU

Cryptonite, top pictures is Chhat Parba picture. Do you know what is chhat ? This festival is celebrated by people of Terai area. They specially worship the sun at sunrise and sunset. During the worship, they keep some special worship-materials fruits, flowers, sweets etc in their hands. After seeing sunrise and sunset, they enjoy and take some foods.

Chat parba is getting some publicity in recent years...I only began to notice it last year, what does a jyapoo know anyway. For the pixture on the top, can anyone list the fruits/vegitables contained in the nanglo held by the lady? Let's do a contest! The one who does the listing of items in Nepali with thier English equivalents will get a reward, umm, what? to be decided later. It will be a good mental exercise as well. Who wants to try?!

Oho... all these crap about starving oneself for the betterment of one's family? Simply doesnt agree with me.. will do it the day a man does it for me. :D Natra ta ,chance chaina bro! But then again, i hear some wimmen, of these fasting lot, do take some food in secret.Good for them i say. While i am staunchly without any religion, i like the buddhist philosophy of not staying hungry for fear of being distracted .Makes perfect sense ni . With one;s stomach growling in protest how could anyone keep track of what the pundit.religious leader is sayiing. Proven fact; a lethally higher record numbers of accidents during the holy month of Ramadan in the muslim countries than any other time. Poor hungry souls... For the rest of us godless folks, bon appetit all year round:) Low carb if u please. Gone with the wind....

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm u smell like racist dalli It is nothing racist. I was trying to say how nepali speaking people are trying to adopt the cultrue that we used to think that is only belongs to a particular group of nepalis. Try to think twice before you make any comment about others thoughts!!!!

I was trying to say how nepali speaking people are trying to adopt the cultrue that we used to think that is only belongs to a particular group of nepalis............................... ur word contradicts each other. so ur saying " the particular group of nepali" are not nepali speaking or nepali speaking ppl are different than so called "particular group of peoples". well i should thank you for using soft words at least (" the particular group of nepali") nothing personal but doesn't ur words say all about ur "thoughts".
