As Kids and young adults and even now-a-days we use words like,
Bidhyanasta yaar....maile gareko hoina..
Amma kaasam malai thaha chhaina......
Amma ragat mero cycle hoina yaar......
Thinking about how we used to word these phrases...LOL and habits like touching your head and chest again and again while crosing a river in the school bus. If anyone touched your neck you had to blow(phoooo) the hand....lol the myth of a golgaad.... if you stomp anyones leg you had to Dhog that person...while passing a small round the corner temple......we had to ring the bell put tika n circle the temple once. every time the evening light was turned on .......we kinda touch our head and then chest like to worship. and many more things we all do as a comon Nepali habit...Its not taught........but we all did it...our pyaro Nepali ways.

Peeps from Thamel would prolly remember this...The rite to passage of attaining manhood for the Thamel kids was to go through the sacred art of butt-squeezing the tourist chicks!! LOLs Nothing to be proud about (ashamed to tell it all here), but a fact that we cats in Thamel lived through. Running high on testosterone and with us all being kids in 7th Grade, we stationed themselves around Pub Maya or Reggae Pub or Tom and Jerry's every nite (any establishment that had to be reached going up through stairs) and whenever groups of female or a single female went up the stairs, it was butt-smacking time. Once the deed was done, flee with no regard for human life! Don't know excatly what type of thrill we got outta it, but since the seniors went through that rite of passage, we felt we too had to do the same. Hells, I don't know why/how this tradition started but it has withstood time and the phenomenon is still prevalent among a few middle-school kids I heard. LMAO The craziest times were the load-shedding days, when the butt-squeeze was even more rampant than ever...Except in one case where due to low visibility, a friend of mine grabbed a long-haired man's azz instead. HAHAHH Another time, a slow friend got his azz knocked down by a chick who apparantly was in Nepal after completing her mandatory Israeli Army requirements in Israel. HHAAH Fond memories of the good ol' naughty as fock days! BTW, No decent Nepali chick from a good family ever ventured into the night alone into these establishments, so it is obvious that that demographics of the population were spared the azz-groping frenzy conducted by raging hormone-filled 7th grader dudes of Thamel.

Hey hey gyanguru, dhulo pachak was awesome. once i got plastic ko chasma,( may i call it sunglass). but sometime, it used to taste real bad due to overeating. how about going to the movies? i used to have Mato(soil) ko khutruke. i used to pull money out of the khutruke ko pwal n go to watch movies as soon as the new movie comes in the Film Hall. it was quite fun coz i used to pay just 50 paisa and used to b in the front row of the hall. and i sued to like to be in the first row. Some times sneaking from the crowd without buying tiket. the tiket guys used to come to check the tiket and i had to run away from him as he used to come nearby me.

how about swimming in the river? we used to go to swim in the river and we used to swim naked . Once my principal caught me naked in the river as he came there to search his son. i tried to hide by Dubulki Maring but other guys told tthat Lovely soul is here too. duriing summer vacation, travelling from one mango Bagaincha to another hoping to get most riped Nakuiyeko mangoes. someguys used to climb those tall trees and shake the branches. sometimes we used to throw stones to get the mangoes. Once i threw a stone and unfortunately the stone fell nearby the eyes of my fren's brother. lol i thought i smacked his eyes, but fortunately it hit on the side of the nose nearby the eyes. then i dint come out of my house for a week . moreover, stealing Cucumbe, pineapples, mangoes. and Naspati from the neighbor's backyard. Lol once we were caught and had to do community service for a week @8hours/day. My first crush was with my neighbor. she used to bath outside as they had a open bathing place and big water tank outside. i used to peep thru my room hole everytime she used to take bath. lol one day i could not control and went straight to the place wher she was bathing. then i stayed there until she finished. but she dint say anything. she was such a pretty gurl but kinda older than me.

Atomic, bhatmas ko dudh. LOL. Ha ha. Dude, that stuff was like cheaper than dairy ko dudh. And it was supposed to be so good for you. So my mom would make me drink it. But you know it had that nasty after taste. Well anyway, thank god bhatmas ko dudh went out of business. Otherwise I would have been drinking that for a long time.
