NCAA footballl season kicked off just A week before the NFl did.

We had already seen some major Upsets. Like the losses of Auburn Tigers and Oklahoma Sooners. there are some new and Exciting players as well as teams. Sure, Spurrier Dynasty part II had begun in USC. Urban Meyer is upto new adventues in Sunshine state. CHarlie Weis is trying to mimic the success of NE PAts in Notre Dame and T. Willlingham is up West in Washington. and Most Importantly Pete Caroll is going for 3peat just like the NE pats are in the NFl.

Bring your stuffs here and lets get the NCAA season going.

BOB you are absolutely Right when you say, AU Tigers sent Bunch of guys in the First ROund of the NFL Draft 05. Think what would have happen to the PICK charts if REggie Bush-Matt Leinart-A. Peterson were all included in the drafts (Just a scenario, don't try to tell me Peterson and Bush are not eligible for the drafts, I know that)??? Alex Smith should be thankful towards Matt Leinart for if it wasn't for Leinart's decison to return to College football who would have known where Alex Smith would have landed!! As of Big 12 SOuth, well BOb the Rankings change every week. Right now, besides Texas at #2, none is in Top 15. If you were talking to me at the start of Week 1, there would have been two teams (Texans and OU) in top 6. Wait until TExas lose to SOmeone, you can then come up with better question. "How many big 12 south has in top 10?" ZERo -0- ..; ). SO nice try. Keep it up. By the way as of Week #3 Rankings: ND is ranked #10 and #12 by AP and USA Today Polls respectively. However, ND didn't even get into Top 25 in any polls before the season started. It's a long Season BOB, don't get too jumpy.

AX bro, I will be interested in BAma vs SC. Spurrier's team didn't lose by many points last week, so Bama shall be a good test. I haven't checked by how many poinst is Alabama favored to win over SC, but I expect it to be by 13 pts. We will see. I will be watching the Sooners, Gators and of course the Eagles games.

I heard that great Jason White, the former Hesiman winning QB of Choklahoma is a starting QB of Tennessee Titans this week. Oh wait, He was not even drafted on NFL draft. Thanks lord they have thing called "supplement draft" for cry babies, so he got into Titans camp thru back door draft. Shoot, I am wrong again..so sorry to say that Jason white is already retired from NFL without throwing single pass and without getting single sack. He is busy working in farm in Norman, Oklahoma and almost going deaf because of all those loud noise over the touch down Carnell Williams just made;)..just a joke:))

Gators and Vols game should be thrilling as both these teams have no love lust. For what was a phanton call that penalized the gator Corner back, cost the Gators entire season or else Gators should have won that game last week. I am not yet sold on gators and Vols yet. Tomorrow's game will give us the picture of who would be one of the finalist of the SEC Championship. It will be interestin to see ol' ball coach in the sidelines against Bama. How many times ya'all think he will toss his visor this time? I am hoping for 4 times.

I know he wasn?t successful in NFL. He is one of the most decorated defensive players to come out of Lincoln and won the Butkus award. There was a big hype when he came finished his college in 93. I wasn't that big of a Huskers by then but I surely did watch the game they lost to FSU(???) I believe he was a fourth pick by the Colts?.If he wasn't injured we will still get to see his greatness :p

He is not the only one; there are many Huskers great who didn't flourish as a Pro. Lawrence Phillips was a total bust, none picked Frazier, Frost was here and there for few years as a special teams, we all know about Eric Crouch.

There are still few Huskers who represents in the pro football..... Winstrom, green, Minter, Schlessinger, Brown, Buckhalter, Lord are still there........

I was only refering Trev Alberts' Pro Carreer nevertheless he was an outstanding College football player just like Okies' Jason white:)) But from what I know Trev Alberts felt shafted because GameDay's hosts Corso, Herbsteit and Flower getting all goodies and Trev and other 2 guys were getting to play second fiddle to GameDay folks. ESPN never liked Trev because of his bone headed opnions and his rating was really low low comparing to other College Football analysts. If you had vistied different college football forums the day Trev got fired from ESPN, there was euphoric happiness all around in College Fooball world.

I can't wait for Urban Myer VS Fat Fulmer's game.

Believe it or not I did like Trev little bit last year as he stayed put on his opnion about Auburn should be in Orange Bowl from the time we beat his best school in SEC, the Georgia Bulldogs and he did not change it till the last moment. But that did not change the fact that he was the most hated ESPN clown in the SEC nation.

Right now Bama is embarrassing Spurrier with 37-7 score and still a quarter to go. Michigan State is leading with score of 14-7 to ND in 3rd quarter. UCLA is 20-17 against Choksters but Chokies have enough time to make a comeback. I hope they beat a *bleep* out of Pac 1 team. VTech is 31-0 against Ohio. Seems like Vtech are for real this year. Good for ACC. The U (miami) is having tough time against Clemson wannabe tigers;). We had an easy day against Ball"who" state :))


Vols and Gators starts at almost the same time as Criminoles and whatever Boston College is. I hate when they scedule same time for high profile games.

I think Peterson is skipping his Football 101 class.....he looked one of the 3 stooges on the last OU possesion. 34-17 UCLA with 6 minutes left.

I hate the PAC 10 and some will think this proves that they are awesome by beating OU.....but they lost to TCU and had major problems with TULSA....I love this though....OU won't screw anyone over when it comes to the title game this season.

Well while it was a really impressive Show, one thing CLICKED MY head. Did you notice his ARM position after the SNAP? He appears to be PRETTY Accurate and He showed great strenght as well but I had some concerns about his throwing ARM. I don't know how many of yOu followed the NFL Draft 05, and in what depths. CLausen made me think of A. Rodgers. WHile, A . Rodgers looked great at California, NFL scouts were skeptic about him. Of course, About his THrowing ARm position. He was a very accurate passer (66%) in College, yet the NFL teams thought his throwing ARm position delays the throw. I know they were saying Clausen Had a quick release and it certainly looked like he did. But his ARm position after the snap and A .Rodgers Arm Position after the snap are quite the same.

This was another Great Weekend for College Football. Some upsets down the road. I will rather say Disappointments.

BC-ND-OU all lost. Despite the Sooners higher ranking than UCLA going to the game, the bears were actually the favorites to win the game. And as of answer to why so? the game proved it all. Without the Aerial attack, the Sooners appeared like the NY jets of last Sunday.Adrian peterson looked like a chicken with his head cut-off - Running without precision determination. I Hope BOB Stoops finds someone who can carry the burden of Sooners aerial attack. This New kid certainly is not ready to lead them yet. Disappointing indeed. If Sooners are going to stay like this, LongHorns will surely drop 60 on them. Hey Ax bro the CornHuskers have a good chance to beat Oklahoma. WoW.. what a difference a season makes.

ND-MSU was a classic thriller. I think the Early turnovers cost the IRish the match. But boi didn't those IRish fight back. Down by 3TDs and there they came back. I also thought the end-zone fumble for the Irish was controversial. Replays showed the ball crossed the Line while the Ruling on the field didn't change. But what a sweet execution by them Spartans. They had already scored a LONG TD earlier in the first half from the same "Screen" play and they did it again in the OT. Charlie Weis and his Defensive Co-ordinator should have known better than that. But that was classic. Hence, the tradition Continues. 5 in a row for the Spartans at ND.

BC-FSU was another thriller. WOW what an excellent change of pace. From running and short passing game plan in the first half, the Noles went to stretch the field with 4-5wrs set in the second half. And boi, didn't that pay-off huge. Unlucky. that's how I will describe the Eagles peromance in their ACC debut matchup. I bet they did make thier statement. Some stupid refree calls cost them this game as well. I think it was in the late 3rd qtr, the Noles returner fumbled the Punt on an excellent coverage from BC, and BC eventually recovered the fumble inside the NOles 20 yard line. The replays showed that the RETURN MAN clearly caught the ball and as soon as he caught it, he got hit and the ball was knock out lose. However, the Refree standing 15 yards behind the return Man who didn't have a FRONT-side vision of the contact between the returner and the defender ruled an intefrence penalty. FUnny indeed. It was intepretated as "the Guy in coverage (BC) didn't let the Return mAN (FSU) catch the ball" hence a penalty. ANd that was a play that cannot be reviewed. And the NOles made the most out of the opportunity. With Porter (starting QB) out with injury BC had difficulty moving the Chains in 4th qtr. And when it counted the most the NOLES special teams stood up. They blocked the BC punt and recovered within BC'S 15 yards. Regardless, that was a good matchup and I am proud of the way the Eagles performed.

Yet another classic battle. Clemson vs Miami. wow wasn't exactly like that how the 'Canes lost thier game last season. Revenge cannot be sweeter than that. 3 OTS. That reminded me of the National Title game between the same 'Canes and the OSU Buckeyes. Unfortunately, the Canes lost that time. ANd oh boi, the BUFFs better be ready for those 'Canes.

There goes anothe SEC team down. Urban Meyer lead Gators beat the Vols in an ugly matchup. Urban Meyer in his SEC debut made the most out of the opportunities. Both defenses played extremely well. Overall, the UFGators played better. Are the Gators going to be the Power house in the SEC? We will see. I will say they MIGHT.

South Carolina took the beating from Bama. They were in the game for the first 30 minutes but those Crimson Tides pulled it away in the next 30 minutes.

And then the Longhorns, trojans, cardinals, Aggies, Wolverines, Tigers (Auburn) Blew their opponents by scoring in Basketball match like numbers.

I thought the C'Huskers got lucky to Run away with the win. I surely did. I feel sorry for poor Dave Wannstedt. Two Missed fgs and two Blocked fgs. The last one would have been the GAME clincher but those Special teams guys played HUGe. Instead of getting his first win of the season Dave Wannstedt is 0-3 now. Meanwhile the Huskers get to enjoy the 3-0 ride. Hey AX congrats.

Oh is it a Crime to cheer for two great Programs who happened to be one of the biggest rivals in NCAA history? First of all I am a football Fan. Then I am a Big 12 fan. If Nebraska or say Texas A&M happens to play say USC or LSU or anyone for the National Title game, You bet I will be betting on the favor of Huskers or the Aggies. No doubt about it Johnny boy. I still root for the Sooners. When I mention the names in this post as GO SOONERS or GO LongHorns, I am actually expecting them to make it to the National Championship game. I don?t see how the Sooners can make it to the Top 2 by the end of the year. It will be cool if they can make it but it?s very unlikely. I don?t see a need for Raised Eyebrows. Get it, little boy?
