We Demand Monarchy

monarchy ????? i dont know why people love to be slave . some times i think people are pretending to be royalist to be hit in sajha or not . other wise i dont think in this new era people loves to be ruled by single person rather than equally participating in each n every decision we made for through process or system of democracy.

rozan that comes through democracy and Maoism is against (or opposite of) democracy. Therefore, as of now, saving the monarchy is saving democracy. Nobody wants the king, but we want power in the hands of responsible people and not some thugs like Maoist. They have killed 14000 of ours for nothing.

Probably we need to wait for next generation of politicians who would be better trained. (Say those that might go back from the US, UK, Aussie land, New Zealand, Canada, Thailand, Singapore and other parts of the world in next 5-15 years for so.
Till then Kings sounds as our best alternative.

Second, we are people with deep rooted tradition and culture. We don’t want to be ruled by the King; however there is no harm in keeping him as a show piece (Like in the UK).

ya i agree with u that rule of moaists wont be fruitful to Nepal as world is no in situation to favor communists . but again in nepal context they are joining main stream politics too . but about king i am not sure but one thing i feel is that even king have not supported democracy till now . most of the time they are busy being dictator rather that true leader . so i don't have hope hope for both moasists and king .same with the situation with other parties . ya it look that we Nepalese are depressed n frustrated in this regards . we dont have common leader we all trust coz no one seems to be true and good for nation . but still i don't want king on nepal as they are more like white elephant. why to spend lots of funds of countries to all members of royal family . i think money we allocate to whole royal family could be enough to do several developmental needs of common people . and along with that u too know that in democracy we can throw unwanted people through elections but we cant throw king so easily.
so i think in spite of these bad parts of Nepalese politics .why not we neplaese join hand to hand to throw atleast own bad side of Nepalese society and politics. might be after that we can do same with other opportunists . and lets hope might be till then new generation would captivate mainstream politics of nepal . so i am hopeful in between all these problems

rozen, put urself in king's position and imagine what would have you done if you have to deal with politicians like Girija and Madhav Kumar Nepal. Do you think they care for the country? They can sell Nepal or just easily hand it over to army generals soon. Coz they have this dangerous hunger for power, money and recognition. Maoist are just pretending for a while. But situation is even out of their control. So, King should be there. At least, he should have realized where the things went all wrong.

i cant take king as identity of nepal. if i take king as identity or idol i should start transferring "Murti" to foreign muesuemes or might be chasing Nameeta sunita once again . pheri future type means PARas type hune ho bhanye i should started going to galaxy with gun and kill innocent civilians like pravin gurung or others victims. one thing i dont understand what king of system u want from nepal ko king gyanendra further headed by paras after that hridanendra. do u want to be like them . atleast semocracy can brinng new faces of leaders but in monarchy no chances. do u want to be "RPRAJA " or u want to be "NARARIK" decide ursself

I am a BIG ROYALIST.

There are three categories of people in Nepal:

1> Royalist: Educated, learned, wise, and who can foresee the future. The most talented and loyal. They want to work, and dedicated to make the nation prosperous. They are religious, but not extremist.

2> Democratic: People who are corrupted and scared of unemployment if King's direct rule is imposed. Will even sell their daughter, sister and mother, if they are paid--even a cup of coffee. Highly uneducated, so they chose politics as their career; they wont find jobs.

3> Maoists: Uneducated, illiterate, sheep minded, poor, hungry, and also the terrorists. Forcibly want to create communal riots, entertain in civil war, and DO NOT like to work; they rather want to rob, kill, steal, murder, rape so that they can eat.

I am proud I belong to the FIRST category and I AM A ROYALIST.

May be our king has committed some minor misjudgements in the past but I strongly agree that he not committed any offence as that is as bad as the so called Congress, UML, bharaa bhuree parties and the Maoists.
