who said that he is graduated , i really dont believe that , even he can show u his certificate may be it will be from  some part of bihar （bihari) certificate. thats true.
  yeah this person is greedy  for his own publicity . and another thing he is shameless also. now i dont know much more about him but when he just started in this media zone .he used to stop govt plate vechile and sit over there to just enter singadarbar. and used to bargain money with some office and some pvt companies also . now this guy is doing good and even people thinks that he has some thing in this media. but for me  hell nothing . individullly he is faggot from before till now

He is not very good with his reporting but not terrible too. After all Journalism is his " Maagi khane bhando". There was once caption in a newspaper that " Behind (literally) every great person there is Rishi Dhamala".

To scrutnize his grades is a proper BS. His achievements are larger-than-life for many journalist and him too. He deserves the accolade for setting Reporter's Club, which has been the platform when streets have been full of protests or at times when the streets have been no-protest-zone.

Who-is-who of the Nepali Politics and the Envoys to Nepal have cozied themselves up in the club. The action and reaction would resound through the most Main Stream Media (and it still does). Then his name would invariably come. After all he presides over the most discussion. Needless to say, a throne makes a  PERSON without any royal traits, a king. Arguments can be machined and digressed to trivia. He seemingly loves to see himself near to other 'great' people but I don't see him as a narcissist. Have we at times googled ourselves?

Let's applaud him for what he has done and not criticize him for what is not up to?

 Nepalnews.com has implied interest on Reporters' club. Actually Reporters' club is partly/wholly funded by Mercantile (parent company of nepalnews.com). That's why we  see only reporters' club pictures on nepalnews.com , and Dhamala,the red color lover ( have you noticed his shirt,hi-neck's and t-shirt's color), is the dummy head of it. No surprise to see him on nepalnews.com all the time!!!

On the other hand, himalmedia is also a joint venture company of Mercantile  and it's CEO is our Ashu dai. So, I feel sneaky on ashu dai's comments.

 

 

 

 

Dhamala is good at what he does. He is visible. He hobnobs with the celebrities, politicians and diplomats alike (not a bad company to keep, imho). He attracts attention. He runs a successful reporters joint. He gets reported on. I have had an experience similar to Nepe, back in 2005. Basically he makes the other person feel important and comfortable.

BTW, isn't that almost what Larry King does?  

After RC, there have been many copycats, funded by left, right, centre and the Palace. Even a fresh journalism student I knew in Ktm was running his own rc. However, each have been able to start a dialogue, you may like it or not. And that is a VERY GOOD THING when people talk.

And what academic qualification should one need for this? And what value would that qualification to the process of DIALOGUE?

Of course there is someone better than Vijay Kumar .Bhusan Dahal who always ask better question and can converse (very) fluently in English .

I have seen few interviews of bhusan inlcuding the interview he did in India with Yachuri, SD muni and some BJP official. He held the conversation very tight, spoke English through-out  and asked the question that need to be asked.

Vijay Kumar is arrogant, ask same question  to every body, and his trademark , " maile  yeso bhane bhane thik hola ki na hola " which indicates that whatever he thinks is right but I want your opinion. Most of his his question are answers and he just ask for the Interviewee opinion.

Yes Lokman..i agree on your opinion.. bijay kumar is really a pathetic person. He think he is the best. He should show some respect to those who are intervierwee. He asked the question like he is teasing the interviewee..Seriously, I hate him as a interviewer

In one public meeting in Kathmandu last summer, I was myself surprised with the ease and steadfastness with which Dhamalaji was connecting to people even with the slightest significance.

 

I was an obscure audience in the meeting. But Dhamalaji was kind enough to introduce himself and exchange business cards with me right after I exchanged greetings with some VIP guests there.

 

He also introduced me with his newly launched website, reportersclub.org, which when I checked last time did not have much content in it.

 

Dhamalaji might or might not impress you much, but I sure am impressed with the success of his “Reporter’s Club” as one of the most sought venue for political publicity in Kathmandu.

Rishi is not a journalist, he is a broker, a Dalal, so kick him out.
Nepali media is directly like THT and Annapurnapost and indirectly like Kantipur and other weeklies run by Indian embassy. So its useless to expect that they speak or write for Nepal's interest ot Nepali journalists.
There are many Rishi like characters either in Press Chautari or in Press Union.
Nepalis should also start racketing now.
Indian embassy, Apca and other Indians are racketing in Nepal. So be careful otherwise it will be too late. Indians are Dog.
