I have been with my gf for 5 years. Last year we decided to move in together, and right now there are talks of tying the knot. Since we started living together last year, I have been getting bored of being with her. The spark is not there at all. She is a very nice girl and I don't want to hurt her, but I'm not happy being with her anymore. I don't know if she would be able to recover if she knew what I really feel thesedays. I feel like I'm not myself because I constantly have to act as if I am in love when I'm not. What should I do??

how about the guy?? i am not sure how they fell for each other. it could be the guy is just trying to use her for sometime or it could be both liked each other instantly after they met. i dont know the real thing. but the thing is be brought her nice gift when met for the first time, and took her for dinner and movies. she is very social and goes out all the time. sometimes i also think that the guy should also not have doen that knowing that she is in relationship with other guy. but i believe that its more of her fault than guy's fault. most of the time guy will not reject if some girl approach him. there are cases when guys dont wannna do that if he is in relationship or he knows that girl is in relationship. anyways, i will see what will happen. i am meeting her soon anyways.

if its just minor quarrel that are commonplace in all relationship then both of them should let them go and tie a knot...that may help since it asks for more responsibilities and understanding. whereas if there is no way they can get along, and differences in views/opinions are inevitable every now and then, then in that case, its better to leave each other and move on.

remember..minor differences are bound to happen, dont take them seriously, in fact they add spice to the relationship.

other thing is...tell them to just experiment and try to stay apart for sometime (say a month or so). if they love each other, then they will miss each other and will drawn towards each other automatically.

Hey GI, couple of things that you brought up are good. you are 100% that whatever i am doing good to her at this point, she is taking everything as negative. you are also right that they are in honeymoon phase, allgifts and nice time and dinner and movies stuffs. i have spent time with her. you are also right that she is very arrogant and very hard to handle kind of girl. she wants whatever she likes. that is her attitude. i gave her everyhting i could. i always made her happy. anyways, i dont know about future. both of them are in mid to late twenties. you are probably right she wont come back becasue of her ego and guilt. lets see how it goes. i want see how she will present herself in front of me.

Hey GI, i forgot to tell you one thing. i dont listen to those sentimental hindi songs and try to act like heros who have been through this in movies. i believe that listening to those songs will not help me, rather have bad impact and i will even start thingking about her more. i dont drink either. i dont want to. but what i am going through riht now is, i am very depressed. i need help. i want to talk to as many people as i could. i want to know the different opinion about it. whenever i am alone, i think about her and time i had spent with her. i get irritated with crowd and can not handle nig crowd either. i am not focused. i have not told this thing to my parents as they are expectign me to get married with this girl soon. i do not have this courage as my mom is very emotional too.
