Recent weakness in Nasdaq is definitely a warning sign but if we don't see any follow through selling on Monday, this could be just another profit taking. Today may not be even a true selling day anyway.
BTW anyone here got a chance to see 60 minutes last sunday?

I have bought some (~ 4% of my portfolio) inverse ETF and that should save little bit incase of disaster like 2008-2009. I take it as an insurance rather than investment though.

Mr. President, if you are talking about the HFT (high frequency trading) in 60 minutes, I would not worry about it much. Probably they will do some senate hearing or something like that soon and bring some regulations to curb or regulate it. Do you really think its affecting the market now?

To those who wants to understand HFT in short video, this might help:

NASDAQ getting hit bad again....market correction continues...stocks getting hit...all bleeding....but when will this stop ? Biotech index getting hit hard...fake bounce then it's right back down again....

Market needed correction...It was all over it's face... Now my question is DOW is still at high and all stocks are nearing their lows in many months... what will happen if SPY and DOW start going down from here ? That's kind of scary

imo

Nas,
Seriously, I don't have answers for any of your questions. I was bit skeptical to invest in stocks in this shaky market. I can't take that risk. Then what else is the best? I don't know. It just came in my mind that buying gold bullions might be the safest way to invest. I purchased it in bulk from ampex.com which is the most reliable precious metal exchange trading company.
Now you tell me I did right or wrong. As a matter of fact, since I bought it's going down. I am totally naive in this.
By the way, what do you mean by "पेपर गोल्ड"? As usual thanks for your concern.

Nas.. the perpetual gold bug.. back when before you were banned, I remember you were predicting the gold to go over at least $2,500 and maybe well beyond $3,600 by 2014, which I said was crazy. Well, the current price speaks for itself.

Also, Nepalibudho, if I had even a ounce of brain, I would sell it.. sell all of it and put it under the mattress or better give it to a professional. Even if I had a strong suspicion that gold was going to double, I would not invest all my hard earned money all in one thing and one thing only. I would not walk, I'd run..

This is funny as hell ...Nas, now a gold/silver promoter !!!!
and some poor fellows might put their big chunk of savings on his words and would be ruined in few years.
If u guys r as insane as Nas (In terms of economics and finance), u should consult a financial advisor and discuss proper asset allocation and have a plan for better financial future.

Remember !!! THERE IS NO SURE THING IN FINANCIAL MARKETS...IF ANYBODY PROMOTES A SUREFIRE OUTCOME IN TERMS OF FINANCIAL ASSETS, THEY DONT KNOW A JACKSHIT.
