It has been six years since the Royal Massacre of 2001. My thoughts and prayers to those who were slain.
Here's a question: why did Preksha Shah go to Lake Rara in the winter for "swastha-laab"?
Preksha was caught in a helicopter accident after a few months of the Royal Massacre.
I mean...she belonged to the Royal Family, so she had some money. Why would she go there instead of, say, Switzerland, or somewhere else? Why choose Rara Lake where there are no roads and facilities.
I remember watching the news when the helicopter pilot was found. He had bandages all over his body, and it seemed like he had quite bit of injuries. But when he spoke, he was talking like a normal man! I don't think a person that has been bandaged like a mummy would talk without any indication of suffering.
I think it was all a complete B.S.--the fact that they thought it was an accident. It was preemptive and you know it. They were probably afraid she would do some kind of bhanda phod or something like that.
Just a thought. Maybe this has been discussed already. I don't know.

Doctorbee!
Instances depicted in movies, books, or any kind of stories teach people lot of plots that they can apply in real life. Speaking of book plots it reminds me of a kid who, after reading Stephen King's novel shot his teacher and some classmates exactly as portrayed in the book during the 90s I believe.
Remember toward the conclusion of the movie Godfather part II, Fredo Corleone is shot from behind in a fishing boat (on Lake Tahoe or somewhere) after Michael Corleone claims this famous quote
"If anything in this life is certain, if history has taught us anything, it is that you can kill anyone".
I am sure you will see certain parallels there. Both are on or around a lake, Lake Tahoe and Lake Rara and both are cases of unforgettable fratricide cases...

Fredo had taken sides against his own family when Michael went to Vegas to buy the hotel from Mo. He was actually planning to kill Michael in Cuba too. Fredo desreved it. You can never take sides against your own family.
Not sure about the Royal massacare. Love the Godfather though.........

yeah "never take sides against the family". i think the parallel to Fredo's murder is yet to be seen in nepal's royal massacre's case. meaning, the aftermath of the massacre is YET to be over. know what i am saying ? :P enigma, if there was a clue to know that this forum had knowledgeable (about the incident) people, and what they'll speak is true, what you're saying could hold some rationale. but the matter of the fact is, no one knows for sure how it happened, and why it happened. therefore we are resting the chance of any concrete conclusion from the discussion in the hands of mere speculators and their own theories. i am just not sure if that helps at all. ke discussion garne yar? speculation haru pani discuss garera kehi phaaida hunchha?

Doctorbeeji, Could you refer the exact source channel/ newspaper that showed/wrote the news about the helicopter pilot had found alive . I know the pilot and his family in fact they are my distance relatives. They did the whole funeral thing without his body. His mom is still not fully recovered from the grief of her son’s death. I haven’t heard anything about the guy come back home or found alive as of today. Since you mentioned that you watched it in the news, It was not a subject of hushed- tone- talk either, I suppose. Anywayzzzz just drop in here to say that your saying paritcularly about the pilot has freakishly surprised me !

Not trying to divert the subject or play the Godfather trivia, true Fredo was involved with the people who were trying to get rid of Michael that Fredo seemed to be unaware of because he was such a dumb f*c*. Michael had a family to protect just like his father did through thick and thin. It was apparent by Fredo's past judgements that he had to go if the Corleone family was to survive in the future. Amazing story line, timelines and scripts! NB: Mario Puzo was in heavy debt by the time he completed this classic book. All the while he was writing it, he had no other income as I read somewhere. Peace out..
