One Gorkhey from Darjeeling conquered India. Congratulations Darjeeling. Nepalis fear of India takeover. Learn from Darjeeling. lol

OK this Parshantey Bhai stole a lot of attention and some precious time too. Nepalis also fought war in the internet in various names with prejudiced Indians. Some of us could even vote for him. And some could donate for him. And all the efforts paid off. Now its for Prashant to build on his career.

And its time for us to forget this frenzy and think about Nepal. Unity is most needed back home. Kapilvastu was such a distressing episode. We have to be united for our country. No fight amongst ourselves guys. Lets try to do good for oneself at least, so that the country benefits. Once again bravo Prashant.

Jai Nepal Jai Nepalis.

i m really glad that prashant won the indian idol....but why we all running after a single indian idol....does it like we have nothing to do so we are running after a single topic after a long time....and prashant can be counted as someone from nepali origin but he is no longer nepali...coz he was neither born in nepal and he have done nothing for nepal since he was born i know he is not going to do any thing also...and dont try to misuse the name gorkhali as gorkhe...dont try to use it as those indians use is india...this is our community not those indians......i work for indian over here but my boss even dont know i know hindi...we are not under the influence of india that we are fighting and discussing for the indain idols...he wear topi that does not mean he trying to show nepali culutre....wht abt that when he sing a song as a chaukidar with the appearance and the language like the nepali...wht u call all those....if he was really a nepali son than he would never act like those.....i know people do those work in india because they got nothing else to do due to their poverty but prashant can deny those proposal during show if he want...and he didnt do it...he just let it know to some more people who dont know it either.........he just do wotever come in hhis career....it just the think that dont make me to think him as nepali......nothing personal

its a singing competition.
he was a competitor.
he won.
and he thanked everybody from nepal who voted for him.
its so stupid to say that nepal has won over india, if this is about nepal and india then nepal already lost the very first time a nepali participated in an indian program. the indians gave a nepali a chance to be an INDIAN idol, not a NEPALESE idol. so i think its vain to drag politics or patrotism into this.
but ofcourse i am glad that he won. he won a crore rupee contract. he is going to have a great career and his family are going to have better lives, and better recognition in india.

I agree with Rohit. Now that Prashant Tamang with his sheer strength of his vocal cords brought us Nepalis from all around the globe together, let's keep that unity strong. There is much that devide us. So many issues, not just in Darjeeling and in Nepal, but in many places that pit one Nepali brother against another. Now with this new found strength, advertently or inadvertently brought by an Indian TV program, can we forgive each other and keep this unity going?

Prashants Humble appearance and the famous smile on his friendly face along with his wonderful voice has made Prashant so likeable to all Nepalese around the world.......
His Smile captures the warmth of millions of his Fans and I believe he can be a great ambassador to unite all Nepalese allover the world and spread the word of peace and unity......then again is it to much to ask ????

He represents Nepal, Gorkhali and Nepalese.

Nepalese people must learn from him How to protect Nepali respect and value in forigen lands.

This is the most and the greatest example by him.
