I have  brother coming to the US for the upcoming semester. He got accepted to University of Texas Arlington, Lamar University and Miniasota state university, Mankota, Please help him in selecting the university?Which is the best among three,What kinda nepalese population's around?? transportation system....job possibilities stuff like that..stuff any new nepali newcomer would be wondering about... he has full scholarship in all three.

if ranking matters, go with minnesota
if not, UTA

minnesota ma tanna Nepali students chhan re. scholarship bhaye pachhi kina job possibilities ko bare worry ni ahilay nai? go for msu.

what are your brother planning to study Newarni...ani undergraduate ki master?? It better to go to good university if he has scholarship..

He is doing masters in electrical engineering.

Sorry, I got confused he has partial scholarship in Minasota state university mankota, He still has to pay around $4000 / semister

I prefer University of Texas for master in electrical engineering...I do not think any of the minnesota state university is good for master in engineering although they provide resident tuition fee.

I am a Lamar Graduate. Good thing about Lamar is you get In-state, that means about $2000.00 for 9 credit, i.e $8000.00 to graduate. But electrical engineering is not that good there (only communication, no power). Graduate keta haru either get job in their feild (20%) or goto consultancy (80%). But again, you can complete masters in 1 year time. If he has friend there, Nepal ma huda nai kam fix huna sakni prabal sambhawana cha.

UTA is good, but without scholorship it sucks.

No idea about miniasota.

What is ur brother looking for. Good university, or easy way to survive till he graduates?  If it is second one, Lamar is the best choice. Graduate pachi Job pauna jun university ma pade pani it does not matter that much but lamar sucks in this matter a bit more than other universites.
