Hi, can anyone tell me the meaning of "full democracy"? I am always confused when the parties talk about that. Do they mean democracy with king or without king? sometime they say "purna Loktantra" and sometimes "ceremonial King". Do they want "Ganatantra" or not?

There is no such thing as "Full Democracy". Even if there is one, then I am sure फूल कहिल्यै पार्दैन --- ओथारो सम्म बस्ला, तर फूल पार्ने चानस नै छैन् ।।। That's why we are not supposed to listen to these politicians when they open their mouth. Coz if we listen to them, we have to either believe them or not. If we don't believe them, thats okay, but if we believe them, they will bug our mind, body and our system, and we come here and ask bunch of stupid questions.

Full democracy is where the political parties are allowed to govern the country but since they can not be trusted, they will be subjected to check-and-balance mechanism by the KIng. This is a very good form of democracy and is called Full Democracy. If this check and balance thing was not there in our country, we would have been sold to India by now by UML and Nepali Congress.

Bhoonte, That's not full democracy, you are talking about constitutional monarchy. In full democracy, there is a chair person of the country, who is elected by national assembly and all the ministers and MPs come to the position through the parliamentary election. It is system where a country is republic.

Full democracy is what every country needs, but in the context of Nepal its hard to think about Full authority to the political parties. They are not trustworthy. Our leaders have not been able to show us that they care about the country or the people. We need one more revolution and a new wave of leaders. Royal Nepalese army will be a powerful political institution once the king is ousted. As we all know, the high ranking officials in RNA come from almost the same family. Right now they are all under the king but once the king is thrown out, the situation will be very volatile and we could have similar scenario as in Pakistanan endless number of military coups. The king does contribute to the political stability of Nepal, but the price we are paying for the kind of stability we are getting is very high. For me its kind of three dimensional chess game. Hope fellow Sajhabasis will explain to me.

Full Democracy really means: (1) Real Democratic Law, Justice and Constitution. (2) To all people get Equal Freedom and Rights in Social, Cultural, Religion. (3) No one above the Law, Order, Justice and Constitution. (4) Corrupt, Criminals get punishment and Contributors get Honor as well as recognization. (5) All human and Animal get well living Rights which would be civilize world. (6) Freedom in Speaking, Demonstration, Writing, Media and Communication. (7) Full Democracy means that to treat all human equal. Preserve and protect nature, wild animals. To treat right or civilize way to Animals, Birds and Living things. (8) Full Democracy DOES NOT mean Misuse of Democracy, Human Rights, Freedom, Peace and Power. This is a major problem of Nepalese crooks.

Full democracy Must mean to: (1) NO one above the Law, Order and constitution. (2) All Race and Sex Nepalese must be Equal and must have Equal opportunities. (Must have balance in Access and Rights). (2) Corrupt and Criminals must not or can not hold in high authority like Manager, Director, Minister and Prime-minister. (3) Prime-minister can Not or Must not hold more than terms Prime-minister position. (4) All criminals, Un-social, Un-civilization, Inequality matters and in-human activities must be band. (5) Everything about legal and illegal subjects must be written and describe in the book of Nepali Law. (6) Criminal, corrupt and bad people must get correct or enough punishment and victim must get fear justice. Like murder must get capital punishment or life time jail. (7) There must be crime and criminals record keeping systems, and record checking system. So it helps to elect right person in political parties as a leader. It helps control crimes. It helps to mis-use financial assets and capital revenue by corrupt people. It helps to filter good and bad Nepalese people before put them into responsible work.

In the context of Nepal, 90% of whole Nepali populations do not know about Full democracy. I even have doubt about word "Full democracy" really understand by Nepali Lawyers, Nepali political leaders, and Prime-minister, Ministers, Police forces and Educated Nepalese people. If we really analyze and understand about situation Nepal, It is not a surprise. It must be the worst than this. Because Nepal and Nepalese seems OK, just because foreign currencies are still floating in Nepal. Thats the key reason so far. Otherwise, I can not imagine that the country WITHOUT Law, Order, Rule, Regulations and rights leadership.

Will it be democratic move to bar those willing to stand as candidate and cast vote in the forthcomming election. I hear threats and violence at full are in plan to subvert the election. Will an undemocratic way to achieve democracy lead us to full democracy. Having said that, I respect the wish of all those like me who wish to boycott the election out of principle or compulsion but again what about those, who wish to participate?
