It has been almost a year since I am living at Baltimore and enjoying my life. I am not associated with any parties or communities. I always love to be among the Nepalese community here. Since I am living alone here, I am always looking for some events in Nepalese community to enjoy and this year I just want to celebrate Dashain. I thought all the Nepali living in and around Baltimore will organize a Dashain programme and we have our share of entertainment. I got surprised when I came to know yesterday that there are two dashain programme hosted by BANA and Myagdi Samaj. BANA's programme is on Oct 11 and Myagdi Samaj is on Oct 12 on the same location. I am disturbed. I have no idea why BANA and Myagdi Samaj came up with two different dates to celebrate Dashain. I am confused now. Which programme should I choose to participate? It just shows the divided community and I just do not want to be a part of it..so I decided not to attain both the programme...Festival like Dashain is a means to bring communal harmony and unity among ourself. My request to BANA and Myagdi Samaj organizer is not to divide the community please and whenever there is a programme like this, please organize jointly and let we all be a part of the show. Otherwise, a guy like me have to keep away from such a dirty politics.

To appear not to be taking side of either party, I would simply attend neither.
