My brother owned a car in Wisconsin. He had Bristol automobile insurance.I, with my parents, moved to Baltimore from Nepal . After a year, we bought another car in Wisconsin again. So we have two cars under Bristol automobile insurance.
My brother moved out to Europe a week ago, and I received a letter yesterday saying that  the insurance rate is up by $100 due to the recent changes on the policy.I don't know what change exactly it is.
The auto titles are from Wisconsin. If they were to transfer to Maryland, it costs around $500 for 2 cars .I am not sure whether I can change the insurance company without transferring.
I was also wondering which insurance company is  economical around Baltimore?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I dont know about the Baltimore Area but I would suggest you to call GEICO and AAA. They will give you good deals.

First thing, you want to register your car in the state you live permanently. By law, most of the states allow 60 days once you moved in. If you don't register in the state you live in, it could be troublesome legally. As for the insurance, call few companies and get the quote comparing what is covered. Minimum liability is what is mandated by law and there are always more options if you want to get more coverage. Good luck!

Go to an independent insurance company who sells different insurances. They give you cheapest rate instead of calling every insurance company. Or try ensurance.com

good luck

your insurance premium changed because the primary driver in the household has changed. now you might be a primary driver. because of u'r age and other factors the premium changed. you can switch to any insurance company u like there is no obligation. try to get quote from all the insurance companies to find the cheapest.

I believe auto titles from any state dont matter. good luck
