Hello all,
My parents recently received their green card through my sibling. A joint sponsor was needed to sponsor them. We have already promised the joint sponsor not to cause him any trouble by using the benefits that are considered public charge. So, I am looking for affordable private insurance for my parents aged 65 and 62.
The other day I was looking at nystateofhealth webpage and it looks like getting health insurance from nystateofhealth marketplace is not considered public charge. Can some please shade some lights on these matters.
I appreciate your help.
