Hi, I m helping my father who is 73 years old, file N-400 (Citizenship). He has never worked in the US since he became a Permanent Resident and always added him as a dependent when I filed for tax return.
Does he have to say Yes for this question ?
If Yes , what should he say in the explain box ?

Aafoo auuni.. fake asylum claim garni , 5 barsa samma dhookera basni , citizen huney, bau aama lai yaha lyauney bachha ko goo pusauna lai, afu haru chai kaam ma jaani …. Bau aama lai greencard bata citizen banauni, ani bhaaako sakhaaa santaaan lai yaha lyauney. 

I would check but if your father does not have any income then he is not required to file taxes when he is included as a dependent

As Independent said, you can use your parent as your dependent ( pay lest tax get more refund).
