Is gold cheaper here in US or in Nepal or on the way (middle east ie Dubai, Doha, Abu Dhabi etc) to KTM ? Looking for 18 or 24 carat. Anyone have any experience or thoughts on this?

Here's the price from 4/18/2010
1 Biscuit = 31.1 grams = $1189.00 with ( no tax for biscuit)
1 tola = 11.66 grams
31.1/11.66 = 2.66 tolas = $ 1189.00
1 tola = 1189/2.66 = $447
$447 *  Rs.71.80 ( as of 5/17/2010) = Rs. 32094

current gold price in Nepal Rs. 30225 per Tola or 10 grams (not sure)
Conclusion: its about the same.
Better option: dollar jamma gardai garnu ani hope that it stays strong ( $1 = Rs. 77 or more)
