Just wanted to start a thread where we can just talk about movies, old and new, so that we know which movie to trash, which movie to see in a theater or wait till DVD or cable time.
I will start with my crappy review on the last movie I watched. Comments are welcome by anyone who has watched or want to watch this movie.
10,000 BC All I can say about this movie is that it is strictly okay!! The story drags a lot and there are goofs in a lot of sequences. Also, the movie does not have breathtaking action nor does it have good acting. However though, what saves this movie from bring utter crap is a cheesy storyline which keeps you pretty interested and hooked on to your seats. The cinematography of the landscapes and the final pyramid scenes are awe inspiring. The special effects are extravagantly well done. Camilla Belle, who previously played the tomboyish role in the movie Chumscubber looks like a PREHISTORIC GODDESS this time around but does not have much acting to do. The show stealer is Steven Strait who played the role of the protagonist D'leh and did full justice to what was required of him and the screen time he enjoyed. Overall, an Okay movie but below par for the prehistoric genre.

My understanding on Happening is something different. From the movie I perceive that something strange happened and people don't have answers to it. Different people have different explaninations but yet they don't know why it is happenning. These are something beyond human cognition. People do not have even a little clue on why is it happening on them? The good thing about movie is it first gives perception that nature is taking a revenge but not so. No explanantion of why it happened. Something happend but people don't know why !!!!

The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor

श्यामलनको The Happening उनको The Sixth Sense भन्दा निकै फितलो छ तर The Village भन्दा राम्रो छ । मेरो विचारमा Signs कै हाराहारीमा छ ।

One of the most anticipated movies of the year, Public Enemies *ing Depp, Bale and is from director Michael Mann of Heat and Last of the Mohicans fame. I would sneak out during the ANA fashion show session and catch the movie show.

Quit commenting so much on Dhoti stuff. Try to avoid all indians totally. Why the heck we can't leave indian music and movies all together. THose F**king encrochers. All I watch and listen to and watch is either Nepali or Hollywood movies. I hate indian things. I understand "Art and talent has no border" . But why the heck should we love the things that put our sovereignty and dignity in danger. Let's learn lesson from india's bullyness.

Movies Recently Watched: Transformers 2 (IMAX) - (7/10) Some of the Greatest Special Effects and Action sequences more than make up for a bad story line and mediocre acting. Worth watching. Ice Age 3 - 6/10 Not as good as its two predecessors but was still worth my money. Lots of laughs. New York - 3/10 Interesting Theme but the already very slow movie drags even more towards the end. Yawn fest!

The most anticipated movie of the year, ten years in the conception and making, 'Avatar' might prove to the most exhilarating movie treat of the decade. Avatar's director, James Cameron, also directed movies such as Aliens, Terminator, and Titanic.
