Guys and gal, what is the most effective way to burn off body fats ?

You might want to try running. About 30 - 45 minutes every day for 60 days. On a treadmill or on the street. It worked for me. Of course once I stopped, I gained some of it back - LOL - but while I did it I realized there is nothing as good as being high on excercise :)

plenty of water, enough rest, and SMALL MEALS through out the day..... every 3 hrs if possible..... and work out.... makes you healthy...... AND BE POSITIVE.....you dont wanna stress out your mind..... its one life you got, you wanna be happy all the time.. and do the things i mentioned above.. you are gonna see some drastic changes and you are gonna feel good about yourself.... AND YOU GOTTA DEDICATE TO THAT.... just dont starve yourself to death to lose weight.. thats gonna HELP your gain some more weight in places where its gonna take you FOREVER to get rid of... Hope that helps

Since my arrival in this Sajha, I am trying my best to figure out what characteristics/ features are best suited for *Husspuppy*, as I do the same for all Sajhaists as a hobby. Till date, I am unable to do so. In some cases, she (I assume she is a female!) is a dangerous HUSS, in other cases she is just a nice PUPPY. Sometimes she appears with soft-heartened stories, but at some other time, she appears as a perfect sex player. Politically, she hails Maoists and lambastes Monarchy with no comment for political parties, however, she loves freedom and human rights. In summary, she is a perfect human being !!!

Hey,
I'll tell you what I did and lost 6 kgs in the last 3 months. First I started by jogging slowly for 20 minutes early morning ( they say that if you exercise on low intensity, your body uses extra fat that is stored in the body). I also started drinking at least 8-10 glasses of water ( Before I could go without drinking water for the whole day). Then I slowly started controlling the food portions that I had in every meal. "Never deny yourself anything, just control the portion". I still had little bit of a belly left to tackle so when I did research on the net, I came across scores of articles on colon cleansing. I am right now on the colon cleansing program plus still jogging everyday for the same amount of time and have already got down to where I want to be. It has taken me a little over 3 months but I feel better than ever. Was 65kg when I started, now am 59kg and going steady for 5ft6". I guess this is the saturation point for me.

Thats some thing new for me,Arati. I think I should do some little reasearch on the net before I embark on my exercise routine. I hope come up with an effective method which would enable me to shed about 2kg thats all.

Thanks to all the sajha mmebers who have shared thier bits about losing weight unslefishly.

Ways to Burn fat:

The answer is simple but the methods are complicated. One can achieve goal if they carefully implement method not only doing but also by effectively pursuing it. SO, here are my ways to do it,

-- CARDIO, If burning fat was easy, we would look all look like Pitt. Get on a tread Mill, Jog around the park or swim if you wanna make it interesting.

The key here is do the cardio in very moderate speed..The fat will start to melt if the process is at that rate...Ocassionally sprint but there is no point if you cant last more than 10 mins..Do cardio such that you can comfortably spend 30 mins.

--Water, It cannot be substituted by any drink..not even sports drink..those are actually only a notch better than sodas. So, drink water religiously..If you are overweight and wanna shed some lbs, then drink water before every single small meal..You wont eat much..feel hungry drink water...

-- Eat atleast 3 hrs before going to sleep..and if you can stay away from carbs at night thenit would be awesome. Being a Nepali, I need to have my RICE once a day and I usually if time permits, have carbs for lunch..but again if you cant do this, try Brown rice or broiled rice as they call it.it doesnt taste as good as Basmati..but once get used to it, you begin to LIKE it..its awesome

--ALways read the labels..when you are buying something..The 90% of the cereals we buy are loaded with sugar and unwanted stuffs..carefully choose according to your needs..I would suggest statying away from cereals...Rather go for multigrain bagels with Soy Milk..and tons of fruits. Apples, Grapes and even Banana cuz it feels you up with good dosage of carbs.

-- Lastly, if you really wanna shed few lbs in matter of days, wear your warmest outfits, bundle up and hit the track at midday heat..You will lose LBS...but again the weight you lose are from water..Boxers try these method to lose quiet lbs before a bout..I wouldnt recommend ..might get seriously..dehydrated..
