Look forward to disaster in Nepal beginning May 1, 2006. Sitaram Yechury, indian communist, was in KTM. He met our crook leaders and all were happy!!!!! Happy for what??? My feeling is a disaster is now waiting to happen. If we remove King from ploitical & cultural equation we will have two disasters. One for Nepal and second for Hinduism. I have been reading hate comments for our King. But just remember He is the Balancing Force. Otherwise these crook/corrupt politicians & bureaucrats & external forces will have a gala time. Maoists-terrorists want constitution to be changed, so does India. WHY? Only to see that our army is weak & they can control the country in future, REALLY. Wake up everyone disaster is about to happen.

Kalki I disagree India has largest hindu population, has fundamentalist hindus unlike nepal but stll they don't have kings. In general indian hindus are more religious (not necessarily dharmic type) than Nepali Remember there are more bad kings in hindu epics than good ones. the only good ones were the avatar types. I doubt gyane could be an avatar. King doesnot play a role in everyday life. nepali monarchy is nothing but leech who suck blood from people. शीवजी जस्तो सन्सार्लाई बचाउन हलाहल् बीष् खाने भयेपो एउटा कुर। सासन् बचाउन जनता मार्ने के को राजा? hinduism survived after ashoka , it survived after moguls it will survive after gyane and so will nepal Jai lokatantric ganatantic Nepal

Hey Kalki Kapil, Nepal is a gone case for now. Someone else said in another post earlier, what Nepal needs is an economic revolution and till we have that, we are bound to see these kind of changes every 15 - 20 years. There was same kind of sentiment and celebration in 1991, then they found some defects in that system (roots of it was casued by unemployment and economic deprivation), now the itch for this new system and mark my words, 15-20 years from now there will be outpouring demands for change in that system as well. And these will all be tied to the economic growth or lack of it, which cannot be achieved when there is political instability.

I partially support Hukka Nepali and Kalki Kapil . Well what is most distressing is two mass murders are still in large . one is King G and another is maoist. If maosit think they have just done revolution then theyr worng , Nepali janta will rise again to teach thema lesson too, no way 13,000 lives will go in vain. Nepal lai kalle bigaryo royal family le ra neta haru le. khoi ta the so called maosit haru le eek jana lai mareka , nata euta royal family ka memeber nai mariye nat a corrupt leaders nai mariye, rather they use to collect donation from corrput leaders(Khum BDr.Chiranjivi, Govinda Raj) ..... ko mare ta sojha sajha nepali janata nai mare, ti army mare tyo pani hawaldar haru ,tyo lathhi bokne police haru jun ki 3000 talab pauna force ma chan. aja tysaka bal baccha haru sadak ma chan. mariye sojha nepali janta, baburam and prachanda has to give answer, tomorrow king G lai fale pachi people will file a case againnst them in international court of justice. merely we r sorry isn't enough.. I was very much distressed when they showed Chiranjivi wagle moving inside the parliament, which was the most distressing moment for me,ke janta le yastaka lai nai jyan diyeka hunta, if we want to create a new Nepal, we have to kick them from now onwards. and I agree with hukka Nepali what we want is economic soverignity not merely having land soveirgnity won't be enough. we want a leader who just can take 1% economic growth of both China and India. we want a leader who can keep independent Nepalese views . What we have to agree is some of the foreign affairs taken by the KinG birendra and King G was very good why the hell our leaders couldn't pursue it more agressively, we want the leader to take further down the road once royalty tumbles in Nepal.

Don't worry dude, Nothing is gonna happen as you assume. Nepal is in the transition period of change. Come out from your outdated fear and ill attitudes. 21st centuary is about new and dynamic thoughts. People has right to do what they want. Nepali people want their active role and participation in the state mechanism. You guys have to be happy that they are still considering to keep a Loyal Monarchy, otherwise this is right time to through out this outdated and useless tration of autocrate monarchy from the country. Keep some positive attitudes towards new changes. Yo Nepali

YO Nepali ji. changes of transition means not instability hai.I agree 21 st century is of course is about new and dynamic thoughts but can u show me one leader in Nepal who can lead us through it. Rember bro one thing" what the brain knows eyes will see", merely keeping positive attitude won't lead u anywhere , its action that makes the changes.

You sound like you are praying for a disaster to give a lesson to Nepalese people just because they have successfully punished the king for his selfish and unconstitutional acts. If this is true then let me tell you are not different than any other demon. I never liked any king in my life because there is no reason to support them. I never support Maoist and will not in the future because they have committed unforgivable crime during their so called People’s War. I also don’t trust SPA leaders because many of them have betrayed us by being selfish and corrupt. Believe or not majority of Nepalese are in this state of mind and don’t even think that the majority people who took part in this revolution support Maoist. Actually they hate them as much as they hate King. You are right “Disaster waiting Nepal†because the demons are still alive. As long as they are alive they will work hard to put the nation into another disaster pain so handful of tyranny can enjoy. But you don’t know there is also a “Fortune†waiting for All Nepalese which will bring peace, prosperity, and unity in this country. Now the battle is between your Disaster and our Fortune and this battle will be decided by the “How the New Constitution will be Writtenâ€. I am one of those who believe this battle will not finished until the New Constitution is written “Properlyâ€. You are talking about just changing the constitution. You should know now that “not changing†is out of question but the question is how it is going to change. Don’t even mention India. They are pain in the butt. I don’t care what they want. It is about what democratic Nepalese want. Lets begin the game.

YOU ARE CORRECT KAPIL...GOD HAS SPOKEN THROUGH YOU. Really, I agree that the leaders will soon find themselves in work and these lazy bastards will soon start gulping down foreign aid and on top of that what about mother NEPAL. These bastards are SELLING OUR COUNTRY TO INDIA for power and INdia is getting all the hydro power, tourism and the ancient temples-Pashu Pati Nath the seat of SHIVA-THE ONE AND ONLY GOD. Boys and girls, wake up and realize that there is no more Nepal in two years and your children will be SLAVES to INDIAN RASCALS AND SWINES. The INdians will turn NEPAL lnto a SEX industry and INDIA will promote NEpal as a SEX tourism spot. YOur children will be SEX slaves to the INDIANS. DOn't choose these bastards for constituent assembly. The INDIANS always wanted to get rid of NEPAL and now they are close. GIRIJA AND PUSPA HAVE BETRAYED US. tHEY ARE TRAITORS WHO SHOULD BE HANGED AND MINCED INTO 13 THOUSAND PIECES...AS MANY LIVES AS WERE LOST IN THE CIVIL WAR. FOR ME I am not in NEPAL but I love my childhood there it was SO BEAUTIFUL...ALAS it is gone for good.

lau yo kasto kura sunna paryo. In the equation of Nepali politics. there are three forces, King , Party Politics, and Maoist. If one force is removed (ie King) there will be one less force to worry about. Isnt that nice? so what about, all these balance B.S. Is it easier to solve 3 variables to solve or two. Use simple math logic. About Hinduism, right now well being of Nepali ppl, is the biggest priority. So lets worry about religion and hinduism after solving this crisis.
