I was quite astonished to see Nepal on the 5th position in world for fast broadband services. I don't know if this is current data. But, I never thought Nepal would rank well ahead of European nations and US for having faster broadband Internet connection. Maybe because there is less broadband consumers, and hence less sharing, and more bandwidth per customer. http://www.zdnet.com.au/broadband/results.htm

As far as i know with the recent change in fee service in broandband service, the fastest speed of internet that consumer can get is 2mbps. That will cost around 9000 per month.
