of mixed opinion about both... vista being new a lot of problems...
tara ahile kine pachi at least couple of years samma chalne kinnu
paryo, the future is vista... gharko basic need ko laagi ho.. kun kinda

use vista , there is no any problem on it , just takes muchspace in c:drive thats all . but chance the taste when u use it u will know it as well

Go for Vista..... make sure you have at least 2GB memory. Bare minimum memory required for operating Vista is 1 GB.. therefore, you need to have more than that to be able to cruise with Vista. If possible get Duo Core pentium processor. Do n't go for $hit like Celeron or AMD.

If you have money purchase XPS 710 H2C. This is the best desktop. You can make server as well.

By the way I support Vista Ultimate and xp professional dual boot OS but if you purchase above pc you can add up redhat as well. You don't have to purchase any other pc for another five to seven years .
