I have an ibook 4 and i need the hard drive reformat.
i don't have the original leopard disk but i bought jaguar software for it.
i NEVER format iBook G4 and never use Jaguar.
Does anybody has idea how to use this software to format the iBook or any other idea to accomplish this task ?
Thanks in advance!

Are you running OS X Tiger or later ?
If you still have the original disk, insert it. Reboot and hold apple key and boot from CD. Then disk you can use Disk Utility to Format and reinstall your OS.
Thats what you can do on 10.5+
Hope this helps

Apple is like Honda, you can ride as long as its unrepairable.
Wasn't IBook introduced back in 02-03? I am amazed with the fact that how reliable the apple is. Shame on you Dell, HP, Sony, Acer....
Sorry i have no idea how you can format that thing.
